Off sick with what?
If its the flu then you are pushing it!
If its stress or a mental health problem then you could prob get away with it.

You have gone sick due to the q&a bug...lol, seriously if you have gone sick but had already requested annual leave and had booked a holiday to Spain beforehand then yeah you can go but if you are going to Spain during your sick leave then it is a bit deceitful, my advice would be just make sure you don't get a tan!! on the other hand, if they are a crap company to work for where they don't value your worth, what the hell defiantly go to Spain without no shame!

If you are off on a disability leave it might look questionable, depending on the nature of the disability. If you are off on approved sick leave and can convert it to using your vacation days I would think it would be all right.

Yes you can but if your employer finds out he can stop your sick pay as your obviously not that sick.
