If there's no god, no afterlife, just death and decomposition, what brings an atheist hope?

Good question, for me it used to be that humanity/children was the hope.

Now I have none. Oh well. So it goes for atheism. It's still the truth.

Hope for a better world.

"Believing there is no God means the suffering I've seen in my family, and indeed all the suffering in the world, isn't caused by an omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent force that isn't bothered to help or is just testing us, but rather something we all may be able to help others with in the future. No God means the possibility of less suffering in the future."

In some people's opinions, Hope doesn't necessarily rely on it all getting better when you're dead.

Most Atheists I know (and I'm not one of them) are just trying, like the rest of us, to live the best life they can and make a difference in this world. Their hope is for the future, and the future of their children

Technically, we were all atheists (we Could Not Believe in GOD) BEFOR WE GOT Born-Again.
Technically now.
It is kinda deep.
You can Mentally Agree that GOD Exists(in your Soul) but you cannot BELIEVE untill your Spiritman is Recreated.
Nobody can Believe in GOD untill you are Saved.
Mentally Agreeing in GOD makes it Easier for GOD to Get you Saved (Spirit Recreated) so that you can Believe in HIM.
Believing takes Place in your Spirit.
Mentally Agreeing takes Place in your Soul.

A hope that we can make heaven on Earth, and Earth paradise - for ourselves and those about to follow in our footsteps...not a bomb site - not "the rapture" or "armegeddon" or all that other crap - that christians and republicans now seem determined to bring forth

Wanting to change your way of thinking from your heart, even if
you don't want to or don't totally understand everything about spiritual matters and especially about God. (Jesus)
They are both the SAME person.

This is where Faith comes in. Are you ready to believe in Jesus? Because He believes in you and is always ready to accept you..... so just call on His name and ask Him to help you to believe. Whether people believe in Him or not, He has, will, and forever will exist!

the only hope an atheist has is by seeking and accepting salvation . no one can do this for them they have to do it themselves there is forgiveness and our heavenly father rejoices to save that one lost lamb.
