He's all black and pretty frisky. I need some ideas because my boyfriend wants to name him "Simon" which I think is NOT a good cat name.

A common name for a black cat is either blackie midnight, or shadow. You could name him Romeo(if he loves people), Max. Here's a REAL cute name for him, Black Jack, and call him Jack for short. If you take a good look at this cat and watch him for a little while, you should be able to name him with out much problem. I have a black scottish fold, that's what I did. His name is Elmo..
