Yes, our kitten had them when we got her. We took her to the vet, and they gave her something that got rid of them. She had them bad in both ears.

Yes, they sure do! To detect ear mites, look down into the cat's ear canal. Ear mites look like there's a bunch of dirty brown goo in the ear canal. A normal ear canal without ear mites will be pink (or the color of the cat's skin) without much dirt.

absolutely. I have a cat that was a stray, she had a bad case of ear mites when we took her in. Take her to the vet, they will determine if it is in fact ear mites and if it is they will give you ear medicine for it. It is pretty easy to get rid of. My poor cat does still after 5 years, have sensitive ears.

Cats get ear mites WAY more than dogs. Many kittens have them and they can be hard to clear up.

Yes my cat had them (he was a stray) and we took cotton swabs to get some of them out and then we took him to the vet and they gave us some ear meds for them.... My grandmas cat also has ear mites and they bought some ear meds at the pet store and they seem 2 be working well hope this helps!

The only thing that got rid of my cats ear mites is Revolution ,its about 16 bucks a month but well worth it ,because it kills fleas .

Absolutely! A cat's ears need to be checked by a vet if you suspect this is the case. We love our cats, and need to protect them from this kind of stuff. Simple drops will take care of it.
