Im a 16 year old male and on August 31 I had protected sex with a girl she wasnt my girlfriend or anything but anyway like 2 weeks after having sex i had this umcomfortness in my penis it didnt make me feel bad it was just umcomfortable and probably a mild burning but now its gone but seldomly comes back. And last week my pelvic and neck was sore like i said before it was just mild the pelvic pain or soreness is gone and my neck is still kinda sore but only alittle. i told my mom what was happenng and she took me to the doctor i told him my pelvic was sore at the time my neck wasnt sore and told me if i was having sex i said yes and he told me to do a urine sample to make sure i dont have diseases. Now im waiting on the results i went tuesday and he said he wants to see me this week again or whatever. Should i be worried and could it be hiv the girl was my age and i asjed her if she had hiv she said no her mom had took her to get tested and it came back negative but i dont know but im really concerned and scared that it may be hiv/aids or something

HIV usually hides dormant in your body for years, so i doubt it would attack so quickly.
you sounds like you could have an STD but there are lots of different STDs so the odds of you having caught a serious one are very slim.

HIV/Aids usually affects the rest of the body, not specifically the penis....and it can take 6 months, a year, or longer for the symptoms of aids to be noticable, or even to show up on a test. So I would say that I am definently sure that you do not have HIV.
You got tested, so that's good, just wait on the results. If you're fine, I would stop having sex with random people and risking this happening again (one day it very well could be aids). If you do have a disease, be extra careful to use protection everytime.
I am very happy that you used protection this time though, good job!

The root of AIDS science is the African green monkey theory, as proposed by the world’s leading AIDS researcher, Robert Gallo. Gallo claims he first heard the monkey story in early 1983, a year before he discovered HIV. HIV had "crossed over" into the human population from a particular species of chimpanzee, probably through blood contact that occurred during hunting and field dressing of the animals. It wasn't because someone had sex with the chimp or any other story that you have heard. The CDC states that the findings presented at a conference provide the strongest evidence to date that HIV-1 originated in non-human primates.

I doubt you have HIV/AIDS if you had protected sex. It takes longer than a month and a half before HIV/AIDS symptoms start to show up.

They can't determine HIV with a urine sample. It's a blood test. You might have Syphilis or Gaunaria (SP?) and these are treated with antibiotics

If you REALLY have protected sex, i dont think that you have to worry about it. If possible, you should ask to see her medical test report to justify what she said is correct!!!

I wouldn't worry too much prematurely, sweetheart. You did use protection. If you are really worried about it go to www.mayoclinic.org and check your symptoms. Good luck.
