Moisturize your skin twice a day. Heradity plays a major role with stretch marks...Try Vitamin E oil, Cocoa butter massage lotion and rub the skin especially the belly, hips, thighs, breast and other areas where you gain most of the weight. This will help from getting huge stretch marks but if you're naturally prone(heradity) to it or your skin is dry and elasticity is not good then its hard to not get them completely. But using massage lotions, exfoliating, eat food which has vitamin c(orange every morning) will help. Maintain a healthy pregnant weight.Do not try retin-a type cream because its not good for the baby. if she needs to learn more u can google and u'll get some nice web sites.

I used Palmer's stretch mark cream twice to three times a day. I found it at Target or Wal Mart. I started using it early on in the pregnancies (twice) and never got a single stretch mark. I've heard though, that it may have a lot to do with genetics, but it never hurts to try to prevent them!

I know that keeping you skin very moisturized helpsthe skin from getting stretch marks. Stretch mark usually come from dry skin that stretches. I used Palmers Cocoa Butter when I was Pregnant, morning and night. I never did get any stretch marks. I guess it depend on the individual though.
Hope this helps!!

Not really. The best thing to do is moisterize. Always put on lotion when you get out of the shower or before you go to bed. But make sure you dont forget any places. Most women forget about in between their legs and the butt. Those are some places that you can get stretch marks if you dont put lotion on them.

Try to stay moisturized. If the skin is supple it will stretch easier without the strain which causes the stretch marks. But if she gets the stretchmarks anyway, vitamin E helps to minimize the look of it. And cocoa butter helps to even the skin tone.

If you use Palmer's Coco Butter it should prevent stretch marks. I hope she's not a teenager. Teen pregnancy ruins lifes. It's like putting up a roadblock in your life and the road is perfectly fine.

Your genetics and age play a big role in the amount of elasticity your skin has. Drink plenty of water, and use a good lotion. Lasers can get rid of stretch marks, but only when they are new and still pink.

Don't gain more weight than what is recommended by the doctor and you need to keep the skin really well moisturized. There are special creams developed to address the problem, the only brand I can think of right now is Mederma.
