The world is on fire today.
Blazing colors all around.
The cool wind kisses my face.
So much beauty to be found.I
feel at peace with this season.
It brings my soul such peace.
I watch the squirrels gather nuts.
I sigh in sweet release.
Fall bids us walk a calmer pace.
Reminds us life is dear.
That we should take time to love.
And to spread that love down here.

very good
reminds me of my childhood, I liked fall too, all the time on the farm, playing in the leaves, walking in the woods, then going in and baking cookies with Gramma.
however I am very grateful for where I am now, where it does not snow!!!!!

Debra.....Can anyone be so pure of heart? Can anyone be so kind? When the world spins wildly out of control do still try to walk the line? In the darkness of night do you feel the light and the pull of something more? A heart that rages, at a world full of strangers, that still have not learned to forgive...There are very few truly good people left in this world. I would like to believe you are one. Debra, I really liked the poem. I finally read something good, honest and pure that talks about the life today and how much it is changing which is a scary thought to be honest. the poem was about the smallest things in life being appreciated and reminding us of sweet innocence which we lost. i loved it since it can be applied to mant aspects of life that many people are going thru or just appreciating life! wonderful, honest and a puzzle of words that fit together perfectly.

The below part doesn't sound right to me (using Peace twice) try to find a synonym to replace one of them like...amity, armistice, cessation, conciliation, neutrality, pacification, etc...
I feel at peace with this season.

Wow, your a good poet. The one thing is you dont' have to put periods on every line. It makes the poem seem dull. But everything else seems great!

Its a really good poem, and I'm not just saying it because I also love fall. It truely speaks the mind of autmn, if autmn had a mind.
