in one of my dreams last night. i dreamt he was in my bed, and he was forcing me to straighten my arms, then, from what i can remember, he was like trying to tickle me, :S.
i know this isnt really religion, but him being who he is, it seems more appropriate than in society nd culture.
i'm just starting to believe in god, could this be why, as religion has been on my mind alot lately.
he was red skinned, and very muscular.
it scared me abit.

That's fairly easy to guess: he's losing you to God and he tries to scare you, probably trying to make you change your mind. The more you connect yourself to God, the less the demons can harm you. And now probably you are already less vulnerable to those wicked ideas and suggestions you got from them (especially satan, the head of demons) before your conversion (sorry, I kinda snooped around your older questions), and they try at least to scare them. Just ignore any dreams or thoughts of evil origin and they will leave you alone. If you feel any difficulty in ignoring them, ask God for help. Having a church where to go and a priest to confess to would also help you a lot.
May God strengthen you!

Never fear... What you're describing is fairly typical of new believers. The dream probably was Satan's way of trying to show you how fun he is. Which, you know by now, he ain't no such a critter.
I know several people who have had dreams involving fighting demons, dining with Satan, and things of the sort.
As for your depression, this too is a normal response to conviction of sins. As you grow in your faith & are better able to recognize sinful behavior, the feelings of not being good enough will fall away. You will come to realize that nothing you can do can separate you from God's love. Also, you'll become better equipped to avoid temptations and regular sinning. It's a very liberating experience.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Have you heard of the word succubus? That is what it most likely was.still a temptation on the physical/mental plane.
The bible does not say what color Satan's skin is as he can shape shift in order to fool people into thinking he is something else.
The Color Red is Associated with Lucifer (a separate entity from SATAN)that the Catholic Church but in to fill in as one of the rulers of the9 levels of Hell . when they adopted the AS ABOVE SO BELOW idea. and had to find some devils to fill the spots. there are also 9 levels of heaven.
Keep studying and believing . if you get anymore visitations like this just say SATAN get thee behind me. or I command you to leave in the name of Jesus who defeated you and God who created you.

Perhaps your subconscious is trying to let you know that not everything you are being taught about Satan or other religions is true, or that if you focus completely on being serious all of the time, it isn't going to work out.
Or both, even.

This may sound strange, but I had strange dreams too when I turned my life to Christ. I began sleeping with my Bible open in the bed. The dreams stopped.
