huh? if the guy is gonna ask you-trust me when i tell you-he's just gonna come right out and ask.
those days where people get down on one knee etc-those days just dont happen the much any more
that's all in the movies.

well, is he predictable or not able to keep a secret? If not, then there might be a few signs, you might notice he's acting different, or paying more attention to your likes and dislikes in the jewelry department.
Really though, I wouldn't want to try to "watch" for signs, b/c if he's trying to surprise you, you dont want to ruin it. He'll be upset he went through a lot, only to be disappointed that you already knew, and it won't be as fun for you.

Well, for starters you guys should have already been looking at rings. Thats how I knew my fiancee was going to propose. After you look at rings and you guys talk about getting married...expect it anytime. My fiancee TOTALLY shocked me. Good Luck!

Guys are somewhat paranoid of the marriage thing. It is very hard to tell the only way you will know is when he just come out and ask. Just don't pressure him or offer any ultimatums. Let it come from his heart.

Well, when my fiance proposed to me, there were no signs. The main sign that I would think of is him coming to you and asking you if you are ready to settle down. Then he asks about your ring size........it could be anything with anyone.

he talks a lot about marriage in the sense of both of you, he takes you ring shopping, he says us and we and not I or me.
He may say something like when we get married we could do this.... he asks you about your ring size or the type of ring you would like. he starts making plans for the future with you in it.
