Does that mean that a layperson like you or me that goes to Heaven could be kicked out for some reason?
Think about it. When Lucifer was in Heaven, he was one of the most powerful angels. If he could screw up and get kicked out, does that mean that a common person could to? After all, in his time, he did outrank the common person.

I think some answerers are missing the point. Yes, if we do down here what Lucifer did in Heaven, we won't go there. But...what if we do it up there? Will we be somehow immune to sinning up there? And if so, why wasn't Lucifer?

You see, nobody can go to Heaven in the first place if he does down here what Lucifer did up there. Lucifer became jealous of God's power and started an insurrection among the angels. So God booted out him and all of his followers. Lucifer was already in Heaven when this happened, and it must have happened at the beginning of creation. All the angels were perfect in their obedience to God until Lucifer decided that since he was beautiful and powerful that He deserved the same adoration God received, so he rebelled. We humans are not in heaven yet and would not be able to enter if we would ever have that kind of arrogance toward God. God knows our hearts past present and future. So don't worry so much.

There is no such thing as an angel named Lucifer nor Satan nor any other angel at all, rebelling against God and taking a third of the other angels with him after getting kicked out of heaven. At least not in Judaism there isn't any such thing. Christianity gets this nonsense idea from reinterpreting a passage in Isaiah to mean this, when the original Jewish meaning is nothing of the sort. This isn't the first time nor the last that they've given some really ridiculous reinterpretations to Jewish scripture.

Angels are given free will too. That was satans (Lucifer) problem, he thought he could be greater than God. That is why there was the big war in heaven and then he was cast down to earth where he reigns now. People don't understand the reason this world is so screwed up is because of satan. He lies to people always has, it started with Adam and Eve. He lied to them and they fell for it. Are you going to fall for his lies?

Never!!! Thank God!
Remember Lucifer was an angel and as such should never be contrasted to human beings who have a different relationship to
God.
We as human beings have a special relationship with
God. He gave his Son that he might redeem us. Such a price was paid so that we would never perish. I guess what I am saying is that we are under the promises of God who cannot lie,he tells me that if I trust in the finished work of Christ I will never perish and that is what he means. As far as Lucifer is concerned he is under different promises. Jesus made it clear that we should never compare angels with humans. I hope this helps

No, because there is now no sin in Heaven. God took care of that already.

Well, he was very selfish, and wanted all of the power. I doubt anyone in the world could be THAT selfish.
