what should the biggest age difference be to date someone in highschool... i think i like someone who is a year older than me, but i dont want her to think im just some immature kid.

age really has nothing to do with it , it really depends on the person and the maturity level they are at... i am 9 1/2 years older than my man and he is more mature than a lot of men i have heard of and spoke to in the world today always act your age not your shoe size, i have a 16 1/2 year old son and he is in the 10th grade and sometimes he acts like he is in 5th grade but when he is around girls he acts differently i always tell him act his age and girls will react differently to him which his girls keep my phone hot all hours of the night and i just want to tell them if you only knew how he acted at home you would probably look else where but most women find it flattering when a younger guy is interested in them....goood luckk

1 year is fine, but, be warned, girls mature faster than boys. Say, a girl your same age may be 2 - 3 years ahead of you emotionally, so a girl a year older than you may be as much as 4 years ahead of you in maturity. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try though:)

Honestly that isn't that big of a difference, but it can be hard with someone that is older. Have fun and if you don't act like a little kid you won't look like one. Just have fun and tell her what you think. Good luck.

I think that if you are a Freshman than you can date a Senior if you want to! It's not that big of an age difference.
