I'm a new smoker that has recently noticed how bad my clothes smell after I smoke, which is normal. I'm just curious, how do I get the smell out of my clothes? Mainly this is referring to a jacket, which has a hard cotton exterior.

Wash, dry clean your clothes. Don't wear your coat if you are smoking.

Quit.

Do not put perfume or cologne on! Only a smoker would tell you that. to everyone else you just end up smelling like a cheap ashtray. The worst to smell combinations in the world.

If you keep smoking the problem will only get worse. Next your house will smell if you smoke in it and what makes it worse is if you become a regular smoker you won't notice your house and car stink, non-smokers will!

quit

really thats the best way - just so you know its not just your clothes that smell like that

washing will do it - but heavy smokers have the smell everywhere and after a while they don't even notice it so quit

Quit smoking.
You can get some of the smell out, but as long as you keep replenishing it with new smoke, you will always stink.
I'm glad you have noticed how stinky this is.
Please quit, for your health and your peace of mind.

Either wash it, or spray it with ALL Fabric Freshener. Works great! Try not to smoke in your car too. When youre in closed spaces, itll be worse.
