Of course they can. Men have some breast tissue, just not normally as much as a woman will have. About 1% of new cases of breast cancer each year are men. Last year nearly 2000 men were diagnosed. Women have more breast tissue and more hormones that affect the tissue, therefore upping the chances they will get breast cancer. However, men can get it even though they generally have far less.

YES! Men can get breast cancer. Breast cancer basically attacks the breast tissue/ducts. Men have less breast tissue than women, that is why breast cancer is not as common among men.

Yes they can. Men have breasts as do women therefore making it possible for them to get breast cancer. When people say breast they immediately think of a woman but men DO get breast cancer too. Thanks for asking the question so that others too may learn this fact!

Yes-although not as prevalent , but men also have breast tissue just not as much for do not have milk ducts and lack the quantitiy of estrogen, and in any minute amount of breat tissue cancer can form

Yes. Anyone, male or female, can get cancer in ANY part of the body. Cancer is not selective. Also, everyone has cancer cells in their body at all times, our immune system keeps it from growing.
