Whenever you feel like that, pray to God, open your heart to Him, tell Him what's wrong, why you cannot endure this, and ask for help in your prayers. It does work. Remember there is nothing you have to go through that's above your powers. If it feels like it's above your powers, than turn to God for help, and you'll get it! Honestly!
Don't blame God if you have such insensitive friends (or church acquaintances). Perhaps you should ask God to direct you towards a real church, with less self-absorbed, pseudo-spiritual and rude people. (Unfortunately, these days self-absorbed-ness pervades everything, but there are still places where you can meet real people, with real feelings of love towards their fellows.)
May God help you on this!

I understand what you're saying. I was hurt like this too some years back. Who knows why some people act this way? I do know that it is not pleasing to God either. When we're hurting, this is supposed to be the time when we receive the most help, and sometimes it doesn't work out this way. It'll be alright. This will pass. Talk to the Lord about it, He knows how you feel already anyway. He loves you, and knows your hurt, and how you feel, He wants you to talk with Him about it,Ask Him if there is anything that you could have done to warrant this behavior from people at church too.
He will answer you, but you will need to be totally honest before Him in prayer from your heart. Been there.

When I was first saved, I found my way into a church that taught Word-Faith, and that was the worst place I could have gone. There were other churches that I could have attended that rightly divided the Word, but I blew right by them. I started asking questions about their teachings, and was systematically drummed out of the worship ministry, then the youth ministry, etc.
I got angry at God instead of simply finding another church to attend...after nearly 15 years of rebellion, I returned to the faith of my youth, and realized something. God respects our choices, even when they are made in emotional turmoil and pain. If we choose to be angry at Him and want Him to go away, God will.
But...God is always faithful. Looking back, I see where He was right there, all the time, protecting and watching over me. He would call out to me...I finally responded, and am grateful to Him for his pursuit of me.
Who am I, that God would love me this much? Read Psalm 23...no, I mean REALLY read it.

God is always with you, sometimes it is like the poem ' Footprints in the Sand ' we are so upset, we do not recognize His Presence. In the book of Job (bible ) Job goes through a lot but he keeps his faith in God. A person goes through the dry valley in their Christian walk.,hang in there and pray, I will pray for you.,too. I do not know what caused the depression but I would seriously analyze the actions of other church members. They sound to be lacking in love for the brethren.I would strongly believe they are not Christians

God never abandoned you...everything will fall in place for you..then God will reveal all the answers to your questions.. there is a cause to suffering as there is a light at the end of the tunnel like sunshine after a storm..faith is being sure of what we hope for and being certain of what we do not see...Hebrews 11:1

God is always with you no matter what. As far as all those people avoiding you, I don't have an answer for you because I don't know you all that well. The only thing I can say is that people have free will and with that comes sin and choices.
Not that you are doing anything wrong but have you done something for all these people to avoid you?

This always helps me:
"Footprints in the Sand"
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many Scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life, there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?"
The Lord Replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

God is always close to us, the question that you should ask is: "Where did I go and how far did I get away from him. The people that say they were your friends were only your fair weather friends, and you don't need people like those. I will be praying for you.
I used to go through the same thing.

Look for God in your Prayer.
(One’s nationality, the color of one’s skin, or one’s economic circumstances have no bearing on the matter. But the motivations of one’s heart and one’s way of life do.)
Ps. 65:2; Acts 10:34, 35: “O Hearer of prayer, even to you people of all flesh will come.” “God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”
Ask yourself: Am I in the right place, is God Residing Here?
