yep--you can purchase the hookah and flavored tobaccos at a middle eastern specialty store (yes, they're legal) :) or, you can also go to a hookah bar if they have one in your town (we do!!)

Yes. Hookahs are from the other side of the world - prevalent in Arabic societies.
When I lived in Montreal there are cafés which are still there where men can go and rent a hookah and select the type of tobacco they want to smoke - they come in different flavours, like raspberry is one I remember. They're not just for bong parties!

Yes. They do it in Egypt as far as I know. A hookah looks like a large bulb shaped flat bottomed jug with a narrow flexible pipe coming out of it near the top. It is passed around from person to person so that they share the tobacco.

Yes this is a very popular way to smoke fruit tobacco. It was popularized in the Middle East, especially Turkey.

I think that's what they were originally invented for...I know it's a big thing in the middle east. I think that's where it originated..
