Josephus, and the Bible are to my knowledge the only first century writings about him. Though it is true that Jospehus was most likely tampered with to some degree, no one but fringe scholarship believes the two parts containing Jesus were simply added whole cloth. Pilot's (the Governor in charge of the execution) records for that year are missing. IT seems unlikely that a religion sprang up out of nowhere with five hundred witnesses who all say the saw him in the flesh after his death. Caused major uproar, laid down there lives and changed the entire course of history (which all these things are attested to even further Pliny the Younger, etc...) if you remove the cornerstone upon which these events were founded Jesus/Yeshua

Well during that time the Romans were in power of the known world and they kept pretty good census records. From what I've heard there is several documentations that prove that there was a man named Jesus during that time period.
The real question is who Jesus really was/is. The answer will depend upon who you ask and what each religion's stance on the matter is.

I can tell you that He is a real person because of what He did for me. I was a drug addict of 15 years, a real mess.I had come from a home of physical abuse, sexual abuse, you name it.
I destroyed all that I came in touch with. Relationships, jobs, everything. Nothing was good. I remember being so wasted so much of the time that I couldn't remember anything, my memory was real bad. I knew some christian people in my world, because my boyfriend's parents were these people. I remember going into the bathroom one day, sitting on the toilet (seat down of course) and looking up. I said "God if you're there, please help me" and this was from my heart, I was ready to change. I called these people, they took me to church (gladly I might add lol), the Preacher came to visit and I asked Jesus into my heart. I have never been the same. For the first time in my life I had peace, and He has never left me. It's hard to explain feelings, but I can tell you that He is real because of what He did for me, and things that He still does. Hope this helps some......

You really just have to believe in your heart that He is real. But also, there are many other religions that acknowledge that He was a real person, they just don't agree that He is the messiah. Christ came as a real person, in the same form as us, but without sin. He died and rose on the third day. He did this for us.
Do You KNOW Him ?
God Bless You

He exist in the hearts and minds of many people but there is no historical evidence that he ever existed other than the scripture that was wriitten about him a long, long time after his death and resurrection. Some bible scholars believe it could be as many as two hundred years after Christ time on earth. It is a story that can only be taken on faith. I really believe that it did not happen at all, but I could be very wrong. Nobody really knows for sure.

We have historical evidence from the Bible, the Jewish Historian, Flavius Josephus, and from Roman History. There is more evidence for the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth than of any other person in antiquity, including Julius Ceasar.

He wasn't. He was made up from 12 different ancient Greek and Egyptian Gods. For example. Horus, The Sun God, predates Jesus by about 1,500 years. Horus was born of a virgin, Iris (Mary), and his father was Jeb, (Joseph), He taught in the temple as a child, he disappeared for the same amount of years Jesus did. He preformed miracles. He was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day he arose, and ascended into the heavens, and on, and on. All the same.

Read your Bible. The Bible has been around for hundreds of years. If Jesus wasn't real, Why would Satan be fighting all the Christians? Many people seen Him over and over again. If He wasn't real way is so many people against Him?

yes It has been proved that he did exist but he was in the right place at the right time., I don;t know if anyone saw the documentary on this last year but they so say trhat in fact he was the son of a young Jewish girl and his father was a roman who in fact possibly raped her, her family covered it up and betrothed her to Joseph to stop the shame on her family. They also said (and I quite believe it as many do) that Christianity was invented by the Romans to control the masses to keep law and order.

I've met Him. He is very definitely real and He is eager for you to meet Him as well.
The Bible (from Genesis to Revelation) tells us about God's creation, mankind's sin which resulted in separation from our heavenly Father and God's plan to provide the Way for mankind to be restored to a right relationship with Him for ALL people who accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior.
