Cartilage piercings take an average of 3 months to fully heal, the outside of the piercing may heal in as little as two weeks, but to fully recover from that controlled trauma to the cartilage, 3 months is a safe answer. It will also depend on you, your immune system and how you care for you piercing. Hope this helps out some.

My first nose peircing didn't take at all. I had to let it close up. It kept getting dry around and finally it almost completely closed up on itself. My second time around it healed almost immediately, there was some discomfort when I would touch my nose for the first couple weeks (like the first and the second weeks) but mostly the pain went away. Also make sure that you are taking care of it correctly, use dial (or other antibactierial non scented liquid soap) on the Outside and INSIDE of your nose, this is best done with a q-tip and some water, also don't use peroxide or neosporine. Those are VERY BAD!!! and make sure to turn the piercing.
