Depends on how popular you are or how big a draw you are. Take for example Manny Pacquiao. He'll get at least $4 million for fighting Eric Morales. He's not even a champ.

What he earns and what he ends up with are two different things.Expenses take care of most of it . Not until the 5th succesful fight does the boxer start to make money. Don`t believe all you read about Pro. Boxers. Many,Many end up destitute. UK.

it depends on how big a draw the fighter is.for example,when marquez lost his "titles" to chris john in indonesia he only made $72,000. while barrera won the title against morales he made over $1million and every defense he never made less than a million.
