How would popular martial arts experts like, Bruce Lee, Tony Jaa, Jet Lee, and Jackie Chang fair in a MMA match up?

I think being the people that they are, they would learn to play the game, meaning leaning jui jitsu or wrestling etc. You can't compare apples to oranges. They were/are great martial artist and given the challenge at hand, I think they would excel.
Although they do not train for MMA fights, they may stand a chance in their weight class. None of these guys would fight TIto Ortiz unless he dropped down to 140 pounds like these guys are.
Now how would they stand against Kenny Florian? They would prob. do pretty well..

Bruce Lee would beat all. Jet Li, Tony Jaa and Jackie Chan are all fakes.

Bruce Lee would not do well, he's dead. Jet Li * Jackie Chan are legit martial artists, they would probably do well, but I doubt that they would want to take the pay cuts. I don't know enough about Tony Ja.

I wondered that too. I think with the exception of Bruce Lee. They'd probably not fair to good once they're on the ground. but who knows.

Karate is a sport like wrestling, you can do good with either in MMA, but you can't survive with just that. Carl Uno, a karate world champion, is an average UFC .

I'm not sure. All of the footage I've seen on them has been in the movies and pre-choreographed. In UFC, it's not choreographed. The MMA fighters of UFC are also well-rounded, they study more than one fighting technique.

Of course as it goes with the UFC, Ya never know what crazy "one lucky hit" can do to a guy!

it's hard to say i don't know how many of them really fought except Bruce he might do alright his philosophy of fighting was one of adapting to the style of the fight at hand
