Why would it be brave to post under the name of fishbiscuit exactly? Is this an offensive or rude word?

Also I have no idea why I am being ganged up on. Barneyboy is arrogant obnoxious one, I'm just giving her a taste of her own medicine.

Do you know *for sure* it's not about a friend? In some cases, it really might be. Some people (like myself) pose theoretical questions that aren't related to anybody - they're just a way to make people think and generate ideas, or check out opinions of a cross-section of the population.

My friend told me to say this.

I feel bad for all the times it actually is about the friend because of all the freudian friends people feel the need to make up to be able to speak their mind less the judgement.

Liars lie, because people are too damn judgmental.

We are all the same for the most part, if not in deed than in thought!

I'm a friend of Report Abuse and I too would like to know how you came to be so arrogant.

I'd also like to know if you think it's brave to ask questions and make judgemental remarks under a pseudonym.

because sometimes we don't want to face and accept that the dilemma we have is ours so by thinking that its someone else's problem (supposedly a friend) our state of mind is happier & therefore can assess the problem more clearly and sort it...most people are just used to saying my friend has this problem....but sometimes it is TRUE that a friend wants to know....

Because they're perhaps a little too shy to ask for themselves. I see no harm in undulging them on most occasions.

because actually nine times out of ten, they are talking about a friend and not themselves - its just the stereotype of saying "my friend...."
People have to learn to be more open minded and not to labell people as much!!!

Well, according to my friend, these people may fear identifcation and ridicule, which is silly because, as you say, we all know who they're really talking about.
