I was recently caught sleepwalking. I was in my underwear at 2am knocking my neighbors' doors trying to sell them bags of potatos. I don't know why I did that...I'm not under any special stress, but I admit it's absolutely hilarious.

Anyone have anything unusual they could share? Do you always forget about what happened?

I've heard that hypnosis can be used to stop this but don't know..

A few years ago when I was down on my luck and had to move back into my parents home I was sleeping on their couch (in their one bedroom apartment) and apparently I got up, crawled into their bedroom and started barking. My mom woke up and asked me what I was doing and I had asked her "Do you like dogs?" and started barking again, then proceeded to crawl back to the couch and continue sleeping.

Your neighbors probably will remember you always! About a year ago I was under the strong serge of Menopause and I was suffering sleep deprivation badly! God bless anyone who goes through this ordeal but anyway I swear I was up and awake and conscience just laying in bed but my husband said I got up and feed the dog at two am in the morning. I swear I did not and was not conscience of ever having done such. That was a wacky time of life and I don't wish to ever go through that again. Thankfully I was only suffering through that for only one year and am thankful to God daily for only having to go though that for such a sort period of time. It was dreadful! Sleep deprivation makes a person do all sorts of things with no knowledge of doing so. I'm also thankful my husband is a light sleeper or I would have worried that I would have done more like yourself!

I once fell asleep on the couch while watching a WWII movie about an aircraft carrier.
(This was years after I got out of the Navy)
There was a battle scene later in the movie, with lots of gunfire, the general alarm, and somebody on the loudspeaker yelling, "General Quarters, All hands man your battle stations."
I woke up on the back porch, trying to figure out which way to go.

My husband is a sleep walker/talker. He got is from his dad and he passed it on to our daughter. When we were
first married he was dreaming that some people had trespassed onto some property he was guarding.
Sound asleep he arrested two people and put them in jail.
I had to hold the covers over my mouth to keep my
giggling from waking him up. We still laugh about it
to this day.

I'm an xray tech. Every once n a while I'll get up from my bed and go looking for the portable xray machine. I find myself in the bathroom and feel rather confused till I'm really awake.

I've had a few phone conversations in my sleep, and don't recall them whatsoever. I ended up telling some of my secrets! It actually happens to a lot of people, I don't think it has anything to do with stress....
