You buy it. Any other way is illegal and if someone here gives you advice on how to break the law they could be arrested. If you just want the same functionality as MS Word, try the GNU project Open Office.

You would have to buy it. However, you can use OpenOffice instead. It comes with a word processor that is essentially the same as Microsoft Word, and it's free.

Well if you mean for free (because I would assume if you didn't you would just go buy it) you can get an alternative that will do the same thing and open word documents as well. It's called Open Office. Check out the link below.

you have to buy it or pirate a copy (which is illegal).
if your a student, most high schools and college's will sell you a licensed copy for about $5.00
it keeps you from stealing a copy and ms gets you hooked.
