If
God= all knowing, and the origin of all things, and all things = good things, and also= Satan, and Satan= Evil, then it is reasonable to say that since God created all things, God= Evil+Good.
So if there is a Christian God, he's two sided. Watch out.

God, in creating man in his image, not only gave man a capacity for intelligence and a moral sense, a measure of his love, justice, wisdom and power, but also gave man a measure of his freedom and corresponding responsibilities. Freedom and responsibility, in fact, are correlatives, the one involves and implies the other. Freedom brings with it the responsibility to choose, and by making a choice one assumes further responsibilities.
This spirit creature made himself both the Devil, meaning “Slanderer,” and Satan, meaning “Resister.” He was “drawn out and enticed by his own desire,” the desire to be in God’s place, and he set out to rebel against the Creator.—James 1:14.

My take on this is that God is all Good. He cannot do evil so he had to give Satan everything he wanted, thus spoiling him like a child, in order to get an angel that would rebel and do evil for him. I don't like to say it because i don't know Gods reasoning ,no one does, but it seems that God is a master manipulator. He cannot do evil so he set up a situation were Lucifer would do it for him. Its a tricky subject walking a fine line between what is moral behavior and what is not but i believe that in order to get the results he is craving God is forced to do things like this. He cannot be perfect otherwise.

You have to understand that God is blameless and spotless, He is too perfect, and yes He knows what will happen from the beginning to the very end because He is all-knowing. You have to understand that when satan was created he was perfect and not evil.....Ezekiel 28:13-15 - " 13 You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
sapphire, [a] turquoise and beryl. [b]
Your settings and mountings [c] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
...........so who is to blame?

God gave all of us, And Satan a free will. We can chose what way we follow. Satan, who had the experience of walk and talking directly to God for untold millennia, choose evil.

rather than take the bait, I will answer the unasked question lying between the lines of your attempt at instigation: Life begets life. Being begets being. Tracing it back still demands a source for The Source. This is where Paul Tillich comes in. He defined God, not as a being, but as the "ground of all being." Dwell on that for a bit.

God indeed is the origin of all things, but its more that hes beyond our definitions of good and evil.
at least in Judaism, he is seen as Good, because it takes a "give" to start things, and a "give" for life to continue, and he forgives freely, just by asking honestly,
I think the christians generally can't wrap their head around this, so they introduced the doctrines of the concept of "evil" and "the devil" and such.

Yes, if a god really existed then he would have to be responsible for everything, good and bad.
