i have the newest version of bearshare, its a good program, but when i had the older version it seemed to be more user friendly. The new version is pretty easy to use though, its set up a lot like I --Tunes is, i guess they assume if you have one you have the other? I have noticed that on some downloads after you go though the whole process of downloading what you want and patiently waiting for it to download it will not play after and gives this message of "loading license" which is slightly annoying, which then means you have to find another user which has the song that you want. but you can't ask much more from a free download site I guess...

Dont use it, BearShare is loaded with spyware / addware.

I used to love bearshare but this new version really sucks. I wouldn't recommend Limewire either because I had such a hard time with it.

I find it good. But, my boyfriend prefers limewire. Bearshare has a higher chance of getting caught.

The new version of bearshare is working for me. I have no problems with it. Don't use limewire my friend had it and it totally ruined her computer

I think free... is never free and you can't ever remove the Ad's spy ware and pop-ups that you get hit with to cover the fact that it's totally FREE!

i don't like it- you should try limewire. it's fast and has an anti virus program attatched.
