I have had a husky/shepard mix. Her name is Nikka. She i very high strung, but she is only about 12 weeks old. Today I picked up my other puppy, a 6 week old saint bernard. Her name is maggy. and is about 30 lbs. she is alot smaller than Nikka right now cuz she is little. Well i thought i would introduce them to each other. needless to say, All nikka wanted to do is play, All maggy wanted to do is sleep. Maggy started growling and got a hold of nikkas nose and made her a rudolph. I want to help maggy grow out of this. and i realize i have to start when she is young still. can some one please give me good advice?

Put the older dog on the other side of a wire fence or in a cage so they can be close without the possibility of violence. This will help them acclimate to eachother.

OMG you do have your hands full don't you? You have 2 puppies it will take them time to get to know each other and one will become more dominate than the other. You need to become their leader, do not let them dominate you. You may want to check out the Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel Or on the web site for more info on that subject. Some people like him some don't, its a matter of personal opinion. Keep an eye on the puppies, they will umm fight ( this is NORMAL) just try to keep it under control and love each puppy with all your heart. They will be fine and remember be patient and don't show favoritism. Good Luck KG
