First of all, yes, menstration is a biological process, but so is crapping and peeing. Both men and women are told to stay away from prayer and the Quran when doing any of these things. Since men don't go through menses they are only told to stay away from prayers while they are crapping and pee...or when they are doing other unclean things. Its being unclean that is the reason for all this.
As far as four wives are concerned, that is only an option. It is prefered that a man only marry one woman. Islam is the only religion that actually says "marry only one". Does the Bible put such a limit?
Divorce is infact allowed from both parties. Islam gave this right to the women 1400 years ago.
A woman's testemony is equal to that of a man's. Infact in case of rape, only one woman's (the victim's) testemony trumps all others. The only place two women are needed in place of one man is in the case of a business trtansaction. And even in that case the other woman comes to provide moral support for the other woman in front of all the men who might be trying to cheat the woman.
Islam came out as a force of liberation for women. Islam gave rights to women that were unheard of in those days and many of those rights are not even a century old by our standards. For example, women in Islam, 1400 years ago, had the right to work, earn their own money and keep it. They had the right to inheritance. They had the right to vote and be heard. They had a say in family matters. They had the right to own a business. They had the right to choose a mate. They had the right to be taken care of by husbands and fathers and so on.
I hope this clear some of that misinformaton that you have.

Read Leviticus 15:19 and on. That gives you the information on menstruation. But most the laws that the women have to endure are man made laws.

Their is no need for her to Fast she can feed the poor ie pay the Kafara n can get away from it for Allah subhanwa tala when he mentions fasting says in times u cant fast dont, either make up later or feed the poor ie give in charity again if u have the means offcourse 183. O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2). 184. [Observing Saum (fasts)] for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man, etc.), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskin (poor person) (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you know salam

hahahahh it is not considered a curse! its just that women that are on their period, are not considered clean. you are not cursed! i have never heard anyone say that before! islam has NOT cornered women. believe me, no women would stick to the religion if they felt that they were being oppressed- especially living here in america where we are free. a man is allowed 4 wives, but only for VERRRRY special reasons. and they are not allowed to have another wife without his other wifes consent. it is her choice. normal women would NOT allow their husband to have another wife, which is why all that is so uncommon nowadays. a woman CAN divorce her husband if she wants and the rest of what u say is completely false. i can assure you as a muslim women. i promise we are not oppresed. i dont mean to be rude or anything, but what are your sources???? i dont feel any different from anyother women. the reason we cover our hair and bodies is for self respect. and so that men would like the women for their INNER being as opposed to their PHYSICAL attributes. its quite liberating actually. i put my scarf on last year and feel so much happier and respected. its great!

The religion of Islam relegates a woman to a second class citizen. A woman may only receive 50% of what a man receives in the inheritance process. In addition a woman is considered the property of her father or husband.

Yes, women are very mistreated in that part of the world. Not only with religion, but with everything. Our church has just since last year placed missionaries over in Iraq. First time for us, we are excited about it, but it's very dangerous. This is how the women are raised over there, sad isn't it?
