Did Jesus come to Earth to "save" people from the old Pagan religions? I was just wondering.

....Sinful nature.....

Generally equalled to paganism by most christians. Even now, we're called immoral, sinful, etc. Even now, people try to force us not to believe as we do because it's somehow "wrong" to them. They call us devil worshippers. I've even seen parents post about being upset because they discovered their child was a witch and they wanted to force their child to "see that its wrong and come back to the right way".

Yes, in most christians estimation, Jesus came here to save us Pagans from worshipping the "wrong" way.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth to offer the earth kingdom to Israel. Matthew 15: 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. When they rejected Him and had Him killed He died for the sins of the world. He was buried and took you sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. He is alive, believe and trust in what He done for you. It sure has nothing to do with pagan religions. Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus came to earth to give forgiveness and life to those who place their trust in Him. He could not provide forgiveness and life without coming to earth, because there had to be a payment for the sin of the human race. John 6:38-40: "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. 40 "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day."

Jesus came to save that which was lost. Anyone who doesn't have Jesus in their heart is lost and going to hell. There is one God, and He is the only one to be worshiped. The others are false gods, and are of Satan. Have you read the book He Came to Set The Captives Free? You will find this book very interesting.

No Jesus came to earth to over come death and open the way to Resurrection for all. He also came to teach us how we should live our lives in order to return to our Father in Heaven after our Resurrection.
