The D200 shutter is rated for 100,000 actuations (vs 50,000 for the D50/ D80 and +200,000 for the D2x).
It's a +$300 repair to have it fixed.
The sensor should last for as long as you care to use the camera.

I have taken thousands of pictures with mine. So dont worry about that now and go have fun and take some photos :)
