I was thinking about writting a note to tell a girl I like her because Im kinda shy. Is this a bad idea or not? Is it just a cowardly approach or is kinda cool?

i think that's not a bad idea, you should talk to her first casually, smile, be nice, respectful. Give her the note and walk away, then the next time you see her ask her what she think about it and if she would like to go out on a date sometime. If she rejects then.... sorry dude, don't take it personally because there are plenty of other people out there, don't take it too too close to the heart. If you never try anything you never win. So give it a try and see what happens. good luck

I'd say that would be cute but your not 10 r u? Thats not a hot idea. Hmmm...maybe if you really wanna go out with her then tell her that when she is alone. DONT even try to act cool cause girls hate it when a guy acts cool when he is asking her out. You should eather...ask one of your friends to tell her! That always works. My friend liked this boy so I told the boy that my friend wanted to go out with him and he said yeah. So that is a good idea 2. Try to get to know her. The more you know a girl the better chance you have of going out with her! Hope you go out on a date sometime!!

Thats really sweet, but the problem with notes, is they can be written by anyone. Get to know her a bit, than ask her out. If she knows a little bit about you, like your name, shes probably more likely to say yes.

ahm i dont think so,.. maybe if u r around 5-10 years old. u can and its cute, but if u r older than that i dont think so,..
specially if she is a popular girl she might think that u r such a losser for not having the guts to ask her out on a date or to ask her number instead so u can just call her and chat..
so prepare urself, just be ur self>>>
aprroach her or talk to her like she's one of ur acquintance,..
there is a lot of ways for u to tell her that u like her than writing a letter..

I don't think that's a very good idea...you should tell her you like her personally...not by a note or a text or an email. Tell her
face-to-face that you like her...that would be the best idea...I know it's hard to tell someone you like them...I've told someone I liked them before...sooo...yea...it's hard...just go up and say "I like you" or somethin' like that...maybe you could drop small hints that you like her...

thats a really cute way to start out..but follow up with it by telling her in person have her meet u somewhere..nice or if its at school somewhere were u 2 r alone and tell her there but yea real cute idea..

its kinda cute wen ur like 12 but if ur alittle older gain sum confidence and im sure the girl will appriciate it if u face it like a man and tell her personally instead of riting a note. just think of the worst possible thing that youve ever done and compare it to asking this girl out...im sure talkin to the girl wont be soo hard. practice talkin to her in the mirror or sumthin...so u just dont blah-out wen u talk to her...make sure u kno for a fact wat ur gonna say...i kno i dont know wat to say wenever im near a cute guy...lol

she will respect and appreciate it more if you ask her out in person....i would never date a guy that wrote me a little note asking me to check yes or no!!! if he can't approach me then i don't think he would be able to talk to me about anything important.
