Tronista is a spanish word.
It refers to the person who makes the religious images that are placed on the "thrones" carried in the processions during Holy Week..
These are usually sculptors (mainly in wood or sometimes molded terrra cotta figures) and often are assisted by an artist who paints the figures (polichromated figures). Although the best ones worked alone. The most famous image-makers were in the 17th, 18th & 19th centuries.
One of the most famous image-makers was Pedro de Mena y Medrano (1628 - 1688)
A current image maker is Juan Manuel Miñarro of Seville.

Ok, if it's Spanish, and it's related to TV, is not "tronista", but "cronista". In Latin American TV is a word for the guy who narrates soccer games, or any sports match.
