Stop trying. Get up and find something to do. I learned a long time ago to not toss and turn when you cant sleep. All you do is get angry and run your heartbeat and blood pressure up and you become more awake. Get up and get busy. Turn down the lights so your body can adjust slowly. If that doesnt work. Take a hot bath with scent and turn off all the lights and light some candles. That will relax you and get you comfortable enough to sleep. If you like to read, read a book while you soak.

Pop a calcium with magnesium tablet. Good for the bones as well as calm the nerves. Works instantly for people who do not suffer from chronic insomnia. For more serious cases, try popping 1 tablet a night for at least 2-3 nights before bedtime and you will surely see results.

Get out of the bed, listen to a classic calm music or read a soft novel book not a horror one, even write the stuff that is in your head on a piece of paper, till you asleep, believe me,this is the best way.

If you sleep with someone, taper your breathing after their breathing, (assuming they are asleep). If you sleep alone, then take a deep breath in with your mouth (not fast, but fill your lungs), then let it out slowly through your nose. Do this ten times. Then, count backwards slowly from 100.

Definitely go with Sluttt (in a manner of speaking!). There is biological/chemical fact that it produces sleep inducing endorphines!
