Five weeks? He probably is cheating, or isn't interested anymore. If the two of you have been dating for awhile, then how can he lose your number? I don't buy it...his excuses are very poor. Now you decide if you want to be with someone that will not call or contact you for five weeks, and then finally gives you such a lame excuse. Are you willing to do that? Only one that can make that decision is you. Good luck.

Trust your instinct, if your little voice in your head says something is wrong, chances are....it is. If you guys are really dating, there's no reason three days should go by without one of you calling the other. Sounds to me like he's got more than one fish on the line so to speak.

It's time to move one. Don't let yourself be disrespected like that. He probably is cheating on you, but even if he's not he ignored you for awhile, he's not worth it. Only go out with guys who can treat you right. Too many girls get caught up in relationships with guy who treat them bad and it hurts their self-esteem.

follow your heart and be straight up with the guy. if you know he respects you and think he isn't a player stick with him. but if he lost your number do you guys email? -if so he could've said something. so him cheating is a 50/50 possiblility.
good luck.

Yes, he has been with another chic and now that it's over he wants to "reconnect" with you. People do it all the time.
Dump him behind and move on.
