As long as she's still playing with them keep buying htem. Kids grow up too fast now a days anyway. Let her play as long as she wants. It beats her being with boys.

Nothing is wrong with her - she's a toddler with a normal attention span. I'm sure she'll pick up the doll from time to time, especially as she gets older. You can try and play WITH her, showing her how to feed the baby and change the baby's diaper. She might just not understand how to play with a baby doll. One thing I do with my daughter, is when I get a new toy I put some older ones away for a little while and then swap them out a month or two later and it's like brand new! I also shop for toys at yard sales and thrift shops so I'm not disappointed if she doesn't like something because I didn't spend a lot of money on it.

Never. Don't make her grow up too fast, or give up things she likes. As long as her desire to have or play with them doesn't isolate her from others let her have her baby dolls. I bought a Lee
middleton doll during my 20's. When my biological clock was ringing off the hook i carried it around my house. It met my needs. When I was done I threw it in the closet until I wanted it again. she's not harming anyone by having/wanting a doll. I'd rather my 10 year old request a doll rather than a cell phone or booty shorts/pants.

Count your blessings!!! Go get the doll!!!

You should stop buying baby dolls when the child gets too old. When she starts showing you that she is growing up by not playing with them. If you are not to sure just ask her if she wants to put the baby dolls aside.

Why should one stop? Ever hear of doll collecting? Depending on the type of baby doll they can be worth a nice chunk of change in later years. I have a baby doll I got when I was 13 that is worth $3,000.00 on the collectors market.

There really is nothing wrong with her wanting to play with dolls. Many children play with dolls up until high school. The important thing is to not make her feel bad about her decision to play with dolls.

Don't stop her from playing with dolls. Many artistic people including myself played with dolls, okay I still play with dolls. I'm still an adult but at least I have an imagination which will help out when I have kids.

Hi, I think you can stop buying dolls, as soon as your daughter tells you so...what I'm saying is, that if your daughter likes to play with dolls, and she is 10, it is OK, because she is still a little girl, so, enjoy your little girl, they grow so fast, and then you'll like to have them back...good luck

You need to let them act out their needs. One of them is being a mommy. Something to care for is always a great experience for any child. If you feel a need to stop the doll faze. Then substitute it with a easy to care for pet. A gold fish, or turtle. Its gives them a feeling of being grown up with somethiing that depends on their care. Plus it s such a good way to show them how to be responsible. Its opens up so many new doors in their little lives. Believe me, youll find yourself wanting them to still want their babydolls. Good luck grandma of 2
