There is this guy in my martial arts class and during the last three weeks I have noticed that he will come up to me and ask "How's it going" and other small things. I have caught him looking at me, but I was the one who looked away. He is a senior student to me and a few times has complimented me that I am better than him in some ways. The last two times ago, I looked straight in his eyes and gave a smile to show him "yeah, I like you." In the last class, he acted like I really wasn't even there. This time, it was me who was trying to sneak peeks at him. And when we were training one art together, I was friendlier while he trained with me like I was a stranger. What gives?!?

His early actions indicate that YES, he is interested in you, but he may not want to seem over-eager. Give this some time and don't be over-eager yourself. You'll then know what's going on with him.

Sorry to tell you that, but some insecure men flirt, just to check if he's attractive to a number of females. Once he confirmed he's an item on shelf that raised interest, he'll confidently look for someone he likes.

ask him men are actually attracted to women that they feel intimidated by so take control but more than likely yes you're female he's probably interested!
