I pointed out Jesi because i always see her answers and there very well thought out and i think she is a smart individual so i just wanted her thoughts as well ok here goes.

It is in my belief (not ness. fact nor fiction) That big buisness is a big part to blame for illegal immigration

In fact can big buisness hire americans at good wages and still make a positive profit?

Yes indeed they can look for instense at Kellogs cereal here in omaha nebraska they pay 20$ an hour and all the overtime you want. They still make huge profits. Now some might argue that who do you think harvests the wheat and all that. Again my argument is can we again hire people who are american and still make profit the answer is yes people we dont need maria to clean the toilet or jose to construct our streets to keep cost down. Some say the cost of living would go up. I agree because big buisness wants to make big money and therefor is a greedy industry. However couldnt there be a way of capping

big buisness or raising the min wage? One step to the problem? We did these jobs before and we can do them again.

It is the goverment who has taken away your free rights as americans to pursue a job that you perfer. If a person wanted to work middle of the road job shouldnt he be allowed to? It is his free right to get out of high school and then pursue a job rather then go to the school right?

IS middle class america no more or becoming no more?

Yes, I have heard this one before. It would be a major help, but we also need to eliminate the other incentives: education, hospitals, food stamps, etc. Also we need to crack down on crime because a lot of them are criminals (outside the obvious offenses). They join gangs, become rapists and murderers, and of course don't pay taxes. However, when we convict them, we need to deport them to Mexican jails.

If illegal immigrant couldn't find jobs then they wouldn't want to be here..no way to take care of their family..but its the governments fault for allowing this to go on also..Most of these big corporations would make a fortune no matter who works for them. i bet almost every house hold in America has a box of Kellogg's in their pantry..i probably have 3 myself. Most Americans would love to get rich but its not a true reality for most of us..most of us want a descend paying job..$20 an hour would be awesome but $10 an hour is reality and would suit me just fine..But i don't live in a big city where gas is $3.00 a gallon its $1.98 here..Its cheaper where i live and to live in the big cities its going to take $20 and hour just to get by in life..We can harvest the fruit at the same wage and it still wont hurt the rich man..he will just be giving back to the USA..My father had to retire because the factory he was working for moved to Mexico..but they are still selling their product here..go figure..

Big businesses aren't the only ones hiring illegals and greed is THE main problem with this country- take a look at how much more money CEOs now make when compared to their employees, then look back in history and compare. One also must look at outsourcing jobs to other countries to maximize profits, illegal activities, corrupted politicians, ad infinitum.

The biggest part of blame is to be found in Mexico.

Politically correct, but still accurate statement: Illegal immigrants from Mexico to the USA have the belief that they will have better lives as illegal immigrants in the USA than they would as citizens in the country of their birth.

Non-politically correct statement: Mexico is just such a morass of suckitude that its people are willing to travel at the risk of their lives to get away from it.

Take your pick. Either way, the rich folks in Mexico City could improve conditions in Mexico by investing in improving the infrastructure in Mexico. Too much wealth is concentrated in too few hands.

sorry blaming big business is wrong

most illegals end up working for scumbag small employers willing to take the chance
they pay them under the table and avoid having to pay Workman's comp and comprehensive health benefits

the illegals float through the social services system and receive free health care - which legals pay for ultimately in higher taxes and healthcare out of pocket costs

so the llegals got it pretty good send the pay home to Pedro and Joe Tax payer picks up their health and education tab

nice country !!!!!!!!!!!

this has got to change

Yes, they are only part of the problem. The CEOs are still lining their pockets. Problem is, they're greedy as hell and want an even bigger cut.

Old thought...heard it twenty times.

This is the reason a lot of states are enacting fines for businesses and landlords that associate with illegal immigrants.
