Could be a migraine! they will cause temp blindness, dizziness and make you sick to your stomach, and what I call kaledascope vision(bright flashing lights in your side vision. Also bright lights will intensify the symptons. Try taking Excederine Migraine, lay down for 1/2 hr and see if the problems worsen or get better. They are a big problem if that is what you have but can be controlled. If it don't help...see a dr.
A sinus infection will cause eye problems also.

There are many things that might cause an instability in one eye or the other. There are even more reasons for blurred vision.
Unless your friend is a neurologist or ophthalmologist, I wouldn't lose any sleep.
Get to one of these specialists and get checked.

It is a normal side-effect if you suffer migraines. Also, are you taking any medications that might affect your central nervous system....?
Some of these may include anti-depressents, diet pills or nerve pills?
