you just gotta do it, so you realize it isnt so bad.

Even if a guy asked me out that I totally wasnt interested in, I would still be totally flattered. Girls love to know that guys watch them and are interested. You'll probably make her smile and blush either way.

I dont know if that shyness ever goes away, it is just that over time you get the guts to ingnore the feeling, let it go and go for it!

shyness is not something you can solve overnight. Try talking to different girls to build up confidence. Maybe practice talking to/asking out the girl in the mirror (i know it sounds silly, but it could help) it also helps if you think/know this girl may like you. I know it's hard, but the worst she can do is say no. Although this will be upsetting, it will also be upsetting if you dont make a move and never find out if it could have worked. A few times i've been too shy to ask someone out and later found they felt the same way (these have been someof my biggest regrets). I'm trying to build up confidence to ask people out because of this. It will give you more confidence if you think she likes you, so maybe try flirting or hinting. hope this helps!

Remember the most frightening thing you ever faced , you kept telling yourself I can't do it, but then when ya did it you found out it wasn't really that bad! well the same goes for asking a girl out, it will take some balls, but do it, the worst she can say is no, if she does, just move on and act like nothings happened.

Just go for it and ask her out. The worst thing that can happen is she says no and that is nothing really. Just ask another girl. Eventually you will become more confident. Actually most people are shy....they just hide it, so join the club and waste no more time thinking about it.

From personal experience, I believe the best way is to change the way you think. Don't think of this girl as a godess or something, think of her as an equal. She is just like you or one of your friends. Think like that and you are bound to be able to speak to her. After you have spoken a few times, pop the question.

Just remember:

She = You

Shyness is part of life. Everyone experiences it. Simply make up your mind that you are going to ask her out and do it. You may find that she is not all that. Chics are not that different from guys when it comes to dating and the whole romantic scene.

Ask someone you don't really care about out first.
Yes, I know it sounds cruel. But, on the date, be a gentleman.

you just need to work on talking to a lot more people in general. Get to where you are not afraid to talk to people.

You don't get rid of it, you just suck it up & do it. It may be hard, but it may be worth it! Eventually, you'll lose the shyness.
