First, you had better be sure, dear, that your brother and his bride are in agreement with YOU singing a song at THEIR wedding reception. They might not think it's the most wonderful idea as you seem to. Secondly, I hope you can really sing, because nothing is worse than someone singing a tune at someones wedding or reception, and straining for the notes and being off key. Honestly dear, if you don't know what to sing then I wonder how familiar you are with music in general.

Well, it might be a nice idea to find out what song they are going to dance their first dance to. Then instead of having it played by cd or what ever surprise them and sing it for them. Then you don't have to worry about picking out a song. Or play 20 questions and find out the first song they ever danced to that works great as well.

I suggest the following song which is absolutely beautiful. I had a friend who sang the song at his own wedding, to his new bride, and there was not a dry eye in the church.
A Time For Us
(Love Theme From Romeo and Juliet)
- from the 1968 film produced by Franco Zeffirelli and starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey
- Words by Larry Kusik and Eddie Snyder and Music by Nino Rota
A time for us, some day there'll be
When chains are torn by courage born of a love that's free
A time when dreams so long denied can flourish
As we unveil the love we now must hide
A time for us, at last to see
A life worthwhile for you and me
And with our love, through tears and thorns
We will endure, as we pass surely through every storm
A time for us, some day there'll be a new world
A world of shining hope for you and me
For you and me
And with our love, through tears and thorns
We will endure as we pass surely through every storm
A time for us, some day there'll be a new world
A world of shining hope for you and me
A world of shining hope for you and me

I like the song I melt by Rascal Flatts. I thought that would always be a good wedding song.
