i have a ex boy friend and he broke up with me last week, he said that he didnt want a girlfrnd right then and that he thinks we should break up for 3-5 weeks, but that he still loved me....... i really love him... i cry everynight. and he sends me emails saying im glad ur online cause i couldnt wait to talk to you. should i tell him that im still in love with him and ask him back out. or should i wait for thinks to coll down and smooth out?........help!!!

If I were you I would first..try to chill a little. I could be wrong but it kind of sounds like maybe you are a little clingy and that sort of pushed him away a bit. It sounds like he really does like you but maybe there is something he isnt telling you. I can see you really like him and just want to snatch him up but I think you should hold back a little.

Maybe you could let him know you think you two are great together and would like to know if there was anything you did that pushed him away.

Im guessing you are both very young. If thats the case, you have all the time in the world. Try not to think of him so much. Spend less time online and more time with your friends. Dont let online friendship replace REAL friendship. Make him physically see you if he wants you-otherwise he is wasting your time. He is very mixed up for some reason.Why 3-5 weeks? What is supposed to happen in this time? I think he is just messing with your head. Tell him that if he wants you then he must call on you and see you-unless of course you just want a penpal because if you carry on this way that is what he will be. He will replace seeing you with emails. Tell him this is not good enough-either a proper friendship or let him go.

Don't know your age but it seems kinda strange he made such a request. I would spy on that young man. He is probably seeing someone else and wants to keep you on the hook and unavailable to fall back on if his new gal doesn't work out. Don't lower yourself by telling him and begging him back. Play it cool and start talking to other guys and if there is something between you and your ex then this is the way to get him back.
