a good quality,heavy bottomed stainless steel pan.homebase have an excellent range in at the moment. £14.99 for the average sized pan and the food never sticks!

I use spun steel pans, which are dishwasher safe.

I've had them 14 years, and they still look brand new.

steel based, take a small magnet with you when you go shopping, if it sticks than you can use it.
