Malthus discovered a mechanism that exists in all animal populations to regulate the numbers.
When there are too many, the members feel under stress, overcrowded, and disperse. If they can't seperate then they turn on each other and become violent.
In societies with a high birth rate, there is a high death rate.

First of all, everything that has a start will have an end. I am terrified by the idea of living forever. Our Earth is already over populated. But we still have plenty of space to use.Don't panic, clear your mind and you will be OK

Humans are one of the most adaptable and resourceful animals the world has ever seen. So far, we have been able to cope with population growth. We probably have reached, or are close to, our limit, but there will be a lag phase before we notice the effects.

Unfortunately no, the Earth is already over-populated and getting more so every day. There is no end in sight. I guess it will stop when we simply run out of food and more people die of starvation.
Humans are being killed, but many more are dying of natural causes, disease and starvation. There is no grand scheme to this.
