does he play a sport? for my guy friend's birthday, i got in a basketball that had a slippery outter side and i wrote all over it with a sharpie. that works well with volleyballs too...!! baseball caps are nice and so are knit caps. get him a shirt with funny words on it. that makes a good memory!!
