Am I the only one who used to like the skin on top of the custard?

Oh my god yes its the best bit,,,remember the chocolate custard and the green mint one as well gorgeous, i miss school dinners

I lived opposite the school (when I was at primary school anyway) and always went home for a cooked meal (thanks to Mum!) so I never got school custard.
I do like the skin when I make my own custard or get custard in a cafe. Mmm.. custard...

I used to like the skin on the custard at school, it used to be quite thick if I remember rightly.

I love to try and swallow a nice thick whole custard skin without chewing it.

On a side note I used to get it most of the time as well as my mum was a good friend of the dinner lady that dished up the pudding. Awesome.

How kids are expected to grow properly on the dross thats dished these days is quite beyond me.
