There is not much you can do nowadays without money. Stay at home, watch a movie. That seems very typical but you make due with what you have, or in your case, what you don't have. A lot of high school games might be free around this time. Volleyball, field hockey, soccer are usually free. If all else fails, drive around in the car. Maybe she can help you to research for a job.

Go to a local park for the day and bring a lunch, frisbee, ball, etc and play some games, or go hiking on a trail nearby...find out about toursit attractions in your area-they're generally very cheap or free and most times, people who live in a spot never go to thier local toursit attractions. That can be fun...museums, parks, etc...now, understand, you can do alot of things for very little money, but sooner or later you're going to have to take someone out to dinner or whatever and spend some money on them, so you need to come up with some kind of way to get your hands on some money...

You have alot of great answers here. Depending on where you live (at this time of year it's colder if you live in the northern states) but I agree with walking in the park, beach, or how about coffee and go for a walk.

If you are the athletic type, why don't you both go jogging or bike ride.

A picnic is always nice, watching a movie at home, play games, watching the stars or even going for a walk are all great. Sometimes they are better than any expensive date because they mean more.

all you have to do is cook up a nice easy meal at home providing that you know how to cook. pasta is the easiest to prepare. linguine with white clam sauce is the best. or chicken with pasta and alfredo sauce is excellent also. have a nice bottle of wine, it doesn't have to be expensive. some pastries for dessert with coffee. a nice movie and some confidence in yourself will always work. all of this in the comfort of your own home. you don't always need $$$$ to have a good time. just chill at home once in awhile. that way you can find out if she's a gold digger...

A romantic walk along a beach or in a park, hand in hand. Its not all about how much money u spend, but the company u share.

I always enjoy watching movies with my girlfriend. Or if you live in a big city such as Chicago or New York, it's nice to go to the park and just talk.
