Eventhough, Moses spoke greatly of the coming of Jesus, he also spoke of Mohammed: "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren (Arabs according to history known to be related to Jews (Isaac & Ishmael - see also Genesis 17:20 therefore Mohammed is an Arab), like unto thee (Moses & Mohammed while both were alive in their times achieved the delivery of new laws and regulations from God, struggled with their own people and then were accepted by their own people and both became great leaders and had governing authority over their own people. Moses & Mohammed both had miraculous accounts, both had a father and a mother, they were born and died naturally and both were married and begat children), and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." God did put his words in Mohammed's mouth (via Angel Gabriel), every single word in The Holy book of the Quran is the word of God. & all the commandments given were achieved by Mohammed.

Jesus (peace be upon him) is unlike Moses as Jesus is one of the most unique messengers. The only major related point between Jesus and Moses that they were both Jews. Jesus did not lead a great nation, governed and brought new laws in his lifetime like Moses. His role was to confirm the Old Testament, a final warning to the Jews from God (which they rejected him, so his blessings ((via God)) went to all human kind) and to prepare the coming of Mohammed.
If you reject this, then ask your self this: ‘Have I seen a copy of the ORIGINAL scriptures of the WHOLE Holy Bible as is from 1500 years ago or more?’ if you could not find it, then now you know why Muslims believe in the final and total message from the Holy Quran. Because the Bible (Old & New) was tampered.

'stfn314' There are very few Jews in the world compared with the others 'what great numbers! Israel is not even a Jewish State but an extremest political Zionist state with the highest turnover of soldiers who leave the Army in the world because what the Army do, does not comply with the Jewish scriptures of the Torah and the Talmud. 'stfn314' what great Nation?

Hi Fire, thanks for your opinion, first if Mohammed is not named in the Bible then Jesus is not named in the Old Testament either.
Secondly, Jesus was the King of the Jews, but did they give him the chance to practice it?
Thanks for your remarks about the beauty of Islam, because as a Muslim, if I was born in the days of Jesus, I would have been a believing Christian (Believer) and a submitter to the commands of Jesus. But the Quran is inspired by God because all commandments were applied, and every-single-word is Gods’ word, unlike the Bible, most of it is other people’s words. As for the Israelites, Islam protected the Jews from Christian persecution during the medieval times.

Hi KENNY P, good point my friend regarding Deuteronomy 18:20, I should have carried on:
Did you know that Chapter Mary and Zachariah are in the Holy book of the Quran, they confirm Jesus Christ more than any other religion, Mohammed said that any Muslim who does not believe that Jesus and the other prophets were true messengers of God then he is not a Muslim, and this is also mentioned in the Quran
Mohammed did not speak in the name of any other God other than the only One God.
Islam did not die, it is alive and it had contributed to humanity more than any other religion.

wgr88 thanks for your remark,
I've already wrote this, but I'll write it again and I hope you do look into it,
Before you quote from the Bible:
Ask your self this: ‘Have I seen a copy of the ORIGINAL scriptures of the WHOLE Holy Bible as is from 1500 years ago or more?’ if you could not find it, then now you know why Muslims believe in the final and total message from the Holy Quran. Because the Bible (Old & New) was tampered.

No djfjedi1976, Christ does not come under this category because the point is made with strong prove relating to Mohammed (read my comments under my Question again)
You have failed to come up with relevance to Jesus.
Your remarks reveals that you lack the ability to rationalise.
This is what the Catholic Church did (including to protestant) and that is:
Programming the Christian mind to not question the Bible (very roman like) stubborn and emotionally attached to an event (Jesus dying on the cross) with no proof of it taken place.
The Christian religion is tailored to the point where it became a recycled faith of Hope.
to fill that empty part in the heart with excessive forced love to Jesus. It is a form of illness, ask the Christians that converted to Islam, about how they woke up (Like the Matrix movie, waking up and seeing how people are brainwashed)

Brethren referred to the 12 tribes of Israel. The Sons of Jacob. Mohammed fulfills none of the prophecies and a main reason is that he WAS NOT a jew.

No it is not referring to anyone person in particular althogh the christ certainly would come into this category seeing as he was the one who fulfilled the law and that the law was nailed to the stake along with him.
As jesus fulfilled the Mosaic law he fulfilled duetoronomy 18 long before the jewish system ended in 70 c.e. and way before your mohammed ( how can you ask for peace to be upon a dead person ? ) so deut 18 : 18 is certainly not referring to mohammed or anyone person specifically.
If it is referring to only one person then this must be Jesus because it accepted that Jesus is the greater Moses. think of all the similarities between the two.

I won't debate the entire issue of Islam in this forum.
First Mohamed is not named in the bible but Jesus is.
Second. Jesus is more than just a prophet, He is ordained to be a king. a judge,
Islam as a beautiful as it is, is not inspired by God. All people not just Christians, but all people have an invitation to draw close to God. Even in the time of Moses, Gentiles were invited to listen to the Holy Scriptures. Through out time Islam has always been separated from the Israelites, Even though they no longer as a nation have Gods approval, according to you there would be no reason to distinguish yourself from Christians either.

Sorry to burst your bubble but NO that is NOT talking about someone still dead in the tomb, Deut 18:18 IF you have A cross reference points you to its fullfillment in John 1:44-45: Speaking of JESUS CHRIST
1:44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Did you understand that the text in deut you quoted was a text that a lot of bibles has a star near, its a prophecy about The Second member of The Godhead, His tomb is empty, mohammed is still in his, one other thing: John has something in His text to say about Jesus.
14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME" hay free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com God bless you.

Wow
You are reaching pretty far to ge Mohammed's name out of that passage
I'll give you one thing....you have a very good imagination.
if you will read further to passage 20 , this is where I would insert mohammed, if I were going to insert his name
Deuteronomy 18:20
"But the prophet who presumes toi speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die."
