Some people think it's pagan and evil but I just think it's a laugh and the children love it - the whole spooky thng. What do you think?

Of course its ok! its just the history halloween has. hallowen is a day when witches gathered and casted spells trying to contact the dead. it doesnt have to do anything with the devil. also hallowen is the day the wall between the living and the dead is the thinnest. BUT THAT WAS 6000 YEARS AGO!

You can make Halloween into an "evil" thing, or you can make it into a fun thing.
My family always made it into a fun thing where we decorated pumpkins every year and became a family tradition I still hold dear and will do with my own children.
My mom helped us create original fun costumes. Every year we had fun together trying to out do the year before plus there's free candy just for dressing in a costume, you can't beat that!

People confuse paganism with satanism. The holiday originated with the ancient Celtic people (Irish, Scottish) and the Celts were nature lovers not evil satanists. When people tell you that it's evil, then realize that they are ignorant and ignore them. Read up on "all hallows eve" and "all souls day" so that you can educate yourself about the origins of this holiday. Then you can enjoy the day with your kids and not feel guilty...

It's a celebration of the devil and all that's evil so not a family thing. Our church holds a party for the kids on halloween so they don't miss out on any fun.

It's just another pointless hoilday. Holidays are the puntuation marks in our worthless, meaningless existence. And since nothing matters, that means you can do what the heck you like, so long as it doesn't harm others. So go ahead, enjoy.

It is pagan. It was made to seem like something innocent and fun, no harm, when in actuality it deals with the occult. Its just an introductory.

I like Halloween I personally believe my kids I dress them believe me there are great costume ideas out there that's not so scary.
but as long as the older kids relax and enjoy the holiday it's cool but when they act up come on there is no need for nasty pranks.

as a christian I think it's really not funny to make satanic stuff look glamorous. kids could pick up on the 'thrill' of the dark side and get into all sorts of bad stuff later on. I don't let my kids do any of it.
