Women love a bad lad because they seem to be more exciting and then we want to change them into a nice guy...we seem to love being hurt and treated mean but we cry and moan and say never again we cant help it..I have been out with bastards but I have learned my lesson and my next boyfriend is going to be nice,reliable and in no way violent and abusive to others or even myself.

Not all women like a b*****ds I can assure you. When I was younger I liked the idea of a bad boy. Mysterious, slightly dangerous, rough around the edges and a challenge to convert. Sadly I learned through painful experience that you can't change people and nor should you want to or try. If a guy is a bad boy then the chances are that he is not going to treat you well at all and you will end up with a broken heart or worse.
I then tried the nice, quiet, polite, sweet and shy guy only to find that he was a worse b*****d because he was not obvious about being such a mean bloke and the characteristics only came out once I had completely fallen for him by which time I was left high and dry again.
Give me a nice, genuine guy anytime...
Maybe you just look in the same place for your women as I do for my men... the wrong place! If you do find the right place be sure to let me know!
Nice girls get dumped just as often as nice guys. I assume you have just had your heart broken - cliched of course but time is a healer, thank goodness and you just need to remind yourself that if it didn't work then it was not meant to be and possibly she did not deserve you in the first place or was too stupid to realise when she had the perfect man.

it's all about how confident you are. women don't like bastards, they can't tell a bastard, neither can men tell a bi*tch. More so than men, women need to know they you like them, they need compliments, they need to BE TOLD, and any holdbacks will work against you because women aren't sure about you.It's a funny one that they are sure with a bastard, oh well. I'ts slightly different if you are in a relationship - any relationship gets to the point when it stops being exciting. all you need it to stir something up a bit, with some imagination, which should be appreciated beacuse you know the person by then. Be confident, cheecky, romantic, but confidence is number one. SAME applies to women.

Not all women like a bastard. Most women don't know thier men are bastards until they have fallen for them, I would love a nice man but there seem to be very few around.

I first found this truth out in college. I was a seriously nice guy in High School and I barely got anywhere. I went to college and the second I started being a jerk I was getting a lot more girls. Girls like to be crapped on, until they hit 25. Then they want a nice guy to marry them. I think it's a combination of confidence and the fact that women want a project. They want to "change" you. You can't live with em and you can't live without the boobies.......ahhhh yes, I do love the boobies.

Bastards are harder to please and more of a challenge to make them what you want them to be. Nice guys onthe other hand are there for you and always good to you and quite easy to predict. if you find a lady like me ill usually keep the nice guy as a good friend that i know i should be, and keep the bastard because i like the drama really and truly.

Whoa mate, we don't all like bastards! Unfortunatley, these type of men often don't show that side of their personality until the girl is hooked. Think about it, do you really think half the women in refuge centres wanted to be there? If you believe you are a nice guy, and I have no reason to think otherwise, then my advice to you is to continue being yourself. The right women will come along - promise.

because the bastard is a bastard and he leaves no room for a nice guy. If your the nice guy and not too scared of the bad guy, defend her honour and be noble and challenge him for her, just make sure you got back, if you win and she still says no. give her back, she a ***** and his mate and theirs no separating them, on the other hand he might be doing you a favour ask him and see.

I think usually when us men are attracted to a girl we try and project ourselves at our best, which can come across as a bit false because we are being overly nice.
When I'm not attracted to a girl I'm just being myself, meaning that I occasionally swear, make controversial remarks and can be vulgar. This can sometimes make the girl become attracted to me, not because of these things in particular, but probably because I'm acting like a normal person and not some self-imagined ideal of what girls like in a man.
