(as the two shall become one flesh)...does the scouraging at the pillar encompass our suffering with illness or injuries throughout our life or just what happens right before we die?

There has been a misunderstanding with my question. Many think I am talking about if his suffering was sufficient. I know it was MORE than sufficient. Each stage of his suffering though was significant and I am just asking at what stage of our suffering was he at while being whipped at the pillar

I don't understand why he should suffer. If the Christians claim he is the son of God, how could God has the heart to see his own son being brutally and mercilessly tortured. Besides if Abraham was saved from bonfire, why can't Jesus?

Why can't God just simply said, Repent and I'll forgive you.

Peace-

It says Jesus suffered more than any man on the cross. Our problems are smaller than that...Eternal life is a gift

Our suffering in absolutely no way comes anywhere close to what Christ suffered for us. even in the worst possible moment of the worst possible day of our entire life

jesus' suffering and death was wayyyy greater than our suffering and death. he carried all of our suffering and burdens when he died. so it doesn't parallel our suffering and death, his suffering and death WAS ALL of our suffering and death combined.
