Like most cartoons the KND is geared towards older kids/adults. Some of the things they do are over the top, but that's the same with any cartoon. Sponge Bob runs around with no pants on at times and kids know better than to do that. Cartoons fight and shoot at each other as well and your daugther doesn't do that. You seem to be in touch with what your daughter watches and that's the first key. I have faith that you have raised her to know what she can say and do and what she can't. KND in general just tries to get kids to enjoy being a kid and rebel against adults that try to take away their fun. Don't let it bother you sista...If you disagree with the message shut her down and don't let her watch it. PBS is always on for my little one.

It's a cartoon - surely you bring your kids up to realise that cartoons are just for fun, and not to be taken seriously or mimicked? If you don't you're going to have some messed up and impressionable little idiots on your hands!
At the end of the day, if you don't want your kids watching something, don't let them watch it. On the other hand you could just teach them to question what they see on TV and not take it as fact, but as it was intended - fiction.

i could be very careful to enable my son watch specific cartoons. Alot of circumstances there are ineuendos in cartoons that infants will %. up on and that may no longer reliable for them. There are some cartoons on sketch community that are very distasteful and might injury your daughters ideas. the excellent ingredient to do is cut back what and how lots television she would be in a position to computer screen. television those days will instruct something to make a dollar. Peace...

Actually, many cartoons and kid's shows have a lot of disrespect for parents, teachers, and other adults in them. Even commercials do, I saw one about this kid sneaking some kind of snack at school and making fun of his teacher, I think it was a commercial for fruit rolls or something like that. In most of those shows on tv that have the teenagers in them they are disrespecting parents and teachers and trying to get away with things they shouldn't. I can't say that I approve of any of those shows, including the one you mentioned. I don't put them on for my daughter anymore.

Thats why I think when my daughter gets older, the Cartoon Network will be blocked. Atleast until she is about 12 when she understands the differences between what they can do on tv and what she could do in real life.

I don't let my kids watch anything like that. They aren't aloud to watch cartoon network especially and most of the the time nick. I find that most of the shows are filled with disrespect and violence. I do have a step son who is a loud to watch all of this (he is 6 years old). He has many issues with behavior and I partly blame it on him watching these shows. I totally agree with you. Why do parents let there kids watch shows that don't model how they should act in society?

It's a funny cartoon. It's for fun. Not serious. Repeat after me...FOOOOOORRRRRR FUUUUUUUNNNNNN.
My kids watch it and they understand it's all jokes. My kids don't carry on and act like the cartoon characters.
