While migrants in the United States have held huge demonstrations in recent weeks, the hundreds of thousands of undocumented Central Americans in Mexico suffer mostly in silence.
The level of brutality Central American migrants face in Mexico was apparent Monday, when police conducting a raid for undocumented migrants near a rail yard outside Mexico City shot to death a local man, apparently because his dark skin and work clothes made officers think he was a migrant.
They force them to strip, supposedly to search them, but the purpose is to sexually abuse them," she said.
Others said they had seen migrants beaten to death by police, their bodies left near the railway tracks to make it look as if they had fallen from a train.

Saw a news special report on this issue on 20/20 or 60 sec. They (the Mexican Authorities) treat the Central American immigrants like stray dogs. Beating, robbing, and killing the men and sometimes rapping the women. Always getting away with these injustices. It was a very sad story. Also I dont agree with Mexico harboring murderers (cop killers) because the U.S. has the death penalty but that's a different story.

First of all.. why would anyone want to? If all the mexicans want to come to the united states, that should tell you something right there. If I wanted to go to mexico, all I have to do is go to the local hospital, or the welfare office. You should not be calling everybody FOOLS.. I am not a fool, I wouldn't even think about going there.

I find it ironic that the Mexicans treat immigrants to their country this way, but they cry when the US tries to do anything to enforce our own laws. And if the US were to complain about Mexico's actions, they will tell us, it's none of our business.
We need to stop worrying about "offending" the Mexicans, and just do what is best for our country. This means enforcing our exisiting immigration laws, writing tougher laws and punishing people who hire illegals to do work. And if an illgeal immigrant commits a crime, send him straight home to a Mexican prison.

Mexico has some of the most brutal laws on illegal immigration, and they enforce them. lawful immigrants are treated like third class citizens, can't vote, can't own land, can't be in a political office. the list goes on. another importiant note: just because one want's a secure boarder makes them NOT a racist peroid!

This is not news to me; Mexicans enforce THEIR immigration laws.
I AM shocked that CBS reported this. It has been mentioned frequently for years on talk radio, I cannot believe CBS reported it.
